So, I gotta ask, why the name Geekaygee? My interest is that my mother's family was rather involved in it - my grandfather and great-uncle were counselors, and another great-uncle on my grandmother's side was a camper, in the early 1920s, at Camp Geekaygee.

This is the most profound thing I have read in a long time. You succinctly and dramatically described the atmosphere in the U.S. today. I have been scared and appalled as I have watched "public opinion" unfold in recent weeks. Thank you for your insight.

Hmmmm... I though it wasn't a balanced representation because it was skewed more toward the positive. If your an aware black in America the stats shouldn't come as new or alarming. I saw it as very positive. I gave it big kudos. If you don't know, the majority of African American are depicted on the global stage by MTV,VH1 and BET: Rappers, and sports figures. Is that a balanced or grossly skewed view of blacks in America? I'd prefer any day CNN's version of Black in American than Lil John, or DMX ignorance portray my existence. Airing dirty laundry? This is one reason HIV is an epidemic within the black community: just ignore it and it will go away. Or my favorite: let pray about without action.
